The Categories:
*NEW* YOUTH FREESTYLE	Open to all dancers aged under 21 years. You can also enter any of the other categories along side this NEW one - energy permitting. Proof of age needed. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
DANCE WITH A STRANGER	This FUN section is a must for every one wanting a good time. No partner required for this section. It is open to everyone including teachers. No one knows who their partner will be until the day itself. Partners will be allocated on the day. Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places.
*NEW* LEROC: BACK TO BASICS!	Open to everyone. This is an exciting new category for all levels of dancers. Just the Beginners LeRoc moves! We are looking for dancers who can style and musicality to make even the most basic moves look fantastic. Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. B2B Rules
INTERMEDIATE FREESTYLE	This section is recommended for those who have danced for at least 6 months. Dancers from the Advanced freestyle section will not be permitted to enter this section. Not for teachers or professionals. 1st Ł100. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists.
ADVANCED FREESTYLE	This section is recommended for those who have been dancing for one year or more. Dancers from the intermediate section will not be permitted to enter this section. Not for teachers or professionals. 1st Ł150. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists.
OPEN FREESTYLE... "The Big One"	This section is open to anyone including teachers, professionals and all those dancers who wish to compete with the best. Complexity of moves will be taken into account. Dancers from the Intermediate & Advanced freestyle sections will not be permitted to enter this section. Up to 3 aerials will be allowed per musical track. The winners of this category will be entitled to call themselves the "LeRoc UK Champions". 1st Ł400. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists.
DOUBLE TROUBLE	Freestyle dancing any combination of three dancers are acceptable. Open to all levels. Up to 3 aerials will be allowed per musical track. 1st Ł100. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists.
SHOWCASE... "anything goes"	This section is open to any combination of two dancers. Open to all levels. It is a great opportunity to perform in whatever dance style you choose. Dancers choose their own piece of music between 3 and 5 minutes long which must be provided on CD only and perform their OWN choreography. Points will be awarded for dress & presentation as well as choreography, musical interpretation and dancing style & entertainment value. 1st Ł300. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists. Rules1,4 & 7 do not apply.
SALSA Challenge	Freestyle dancing - open to all levels. 1st Ł100. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists. Rule 4 does not apply.
*ALL NEW* WCS Pro Jack and Jill	The Invitational section where the best compete. 1st Ł300. Trophies & Titles for 2nd and 3rd.Limited ed. gift for all finalists. Rule 4 does not apply.
WCS Novice / Intermediates / Freestyle	Freestyle dancing - open to all levels. 1st Ł100. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists. Rule 4 does not apply.
AIR STEPS	Freestyle dancing - open to all levels. As many aerials as you wish. 1st Ł150. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists. Rule 1 does not apply.
TEAM CABARET	At least 4 couples dancing a choreographed routine to between 3 and 5 minutes of music of their choice. All types of dance are permitted but a definite lead & follow should be clearly demonstrated. 1st place Ł200. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place. Rules1, 4 & 7 do not apply.
SENIOR SECTION	Freestyle dancing - open to all levels. All entrants must be over 45+ (previously 50) - proof of age required. Prize for 1st Place. Medals for 2nd & 3rd. Limited edition gift for all finalists.
